Hurghada is Egypt's original Red Sea resort town — a bigger, more spread-out city than Sharm, with a wider range of hotel price points (it's generally the most budget-friendly of the three for similar quality) and easy boat access to Giftun Island and Orange Bay's white sand. Best fit if you want a straightforward beach holiday with good value and don't need a party scene.
