Hamata Islands Snorkeling Trip
From €65
The Hamata Islands sit further south than almost anywhere else on the Marsa Alam boat-trip circuit, which means fewer boats and noticeably less-disturbed reef than sites closer to the main resort belt.
A typical day includes the boat ride south, two or three snorkeling stops around different islands in the chain, and time on a genuinely quiet sandbar or beach — the kind of empty, turquoise-on-white scene that's harder to find further north on the coast.
Because it's a longer crossing, this is usually a full-day trip with lunch included; pack motion-sickness relief if you're prone to it.
