Luxor West Bank Bike Tour

For a more active, independent way to see the West Bank, this bike tour covers a route through farmland villages and smaller archaeological sites away from the main tomb complexes, with stops chosen to avoid the tour-bus crowds. Riding rather than driving between stops gives a real sense of how the West Bank's farming communities live alongside — and often literally on top of — the ancient necropolis around them.

Routes are generally flat and easy, suitable for riders of most fitness levels, with a guide setting the pace and handling any navigation.

Best done in the cooler months or early morning — the West Bank has little shade, and cycling in the height of summer heat isn't recommended.
