Pyramids Sound and Light Show

This nightly show turns the pyramids and Sphinx into the backdrop for a narrated history performance, with light and lasers projected directly onto the monuments as the story of ancient Egypt unfolds. It's a completely different way to experience the site than a daytime visit — the pyramids lit up against a dark desert sky have a very different presence than they do under the midday sun.

Seating is in an open-air amphitheater facing the monuments, and shows run in multiple languages on a rotating schedule — check the language for your preferred showtime when booking.

A good way to add a second, very different visit to the plateau if you're already spending a day or two in the area.
