Three Pools & Blue Lagoon Snorkeling

From €42

The Three Pools and Blue Lagoon sit north of the Blue Hole, where a series of shallow, wind-sheltered pools give way to a wider lagoon of strikingly clear turquoise water, framed by the Sinai mountains rising straight up behind it. It's one of the most photogenic spots on this entire stretch of coast, and the calm, shallow water makes it an easy, low-stress snorkel even for less confident swimmers.

The reef inside the lagoon is in good condition, with plenty of reef fish visible even without going far from shore. Most trips combine this stop with the Blue Hole itself, making for a relaxed half or full day split between two of Dahab's signature sights.

Bring a windbreaker — this stretch of coast can pick up a breeze even on a calm day elsewhere.
